Spencer von Salvisberg is an adorable 7 month old German Shepherd/Lab mix. He looks like he has had great care, he is also very social and outgoing. After arriving from a transport from Bakersfield he wasn’t sure what was happening to him, it took him just a few minutes to get back into his happy puppy mode. He definitely needs another dog in his new family. So far he is good with a cat in his foster family. Spencer would make a great family dog!
Per his foster mom:
This is a wonderful dog. During his bath, he was a good boy and gave me lots of kisses.  Once done - what a stunner!My neighbors are already ooing and awing over how handsome he is and at this point, they are used to seeing lots of different fosters.  He ate a good breakfast with great enthusiasm. Spencer quickly got the order of the pack in our household,  My male grabbed him and pinned him so he understood the order here and they have had no problems since.  He has had no issues with my female at all.  He saw my outdoor cat, who is dog friendly and wagged his tail.  He was about two feet from him but did not go near him.  He loves to play and at the moment, is curled up on a dog bed enjoying a nice snooze listening to my spa and waterfall.  To think that this dog was due to be put down within 24 hours of us picking him up is horrific - he is a doll and will be an incredible family dog.
